I have slowly been removing invasive weeds by hand-pulling them over the years. Non-native thistles and scotch broom and tansy ragwort were high on my list. When I was younger and fitter, I used to roam over probably 50 acres (at lot of it undeveloped land). My friend Maxine used to call me a ninja weeder because sometimes I would seek onto rough wild land where I was not welcome and pull up tansy ragworts before sunrise.
